The most successful shaft in the history of golf, Dynamic Gold is a tour-weighted shaft that is designed for players seeking a penetrating ball flight with optimum control and accuracy.
Tempo is not how fast you swing it, it is how you swing it fast. Tempo will affect how you load and unload the shaft and is a big factor in which shaft will best suit you. A player with a quicker backswing and more aggressive transition will have a faster tempo, while a player with a slower backswing and smoother transition will have a more deliberate tempo.
LOW
TRAJECTORY
Trajectory is the flight of the ball and the peak height that the ball reaches. A player who struggles with getting the ball in the air should look towards a higher trajectory shaft, while a player who struggles hitting the ball too high should look for a lower trajectory shaft.
LOW
SPIN
Spin is the amount of backspin that the ball has. The designs of certain golf shafts can promote more or less spin so keep this in mind when looking for a shaft to maximize your game.

Review by MDBNV on 22 Feb 2024review stating Steady and Sturdy S300 Dynamic Gold
After 30-plus years of play, I still order my irons with the S300 Dynamic Golds. I love the ball flight, especially in the desert. In my lifetime as a weekend hack and occasional League tournament player, I have shot two even-par tournament rounds with these shafts (one in high winds). There are probably better and more technologically efficient d...Read MoreRead more about After 30-plus years of play, I still
esigns out there, but I can rely on the S300's every round to produce a consistent shot. I guess that is why the Dynamic Golds are still in a lot of bags. Read LessRead less about After 30-plus years of play, I still
Review by Michael B. on 19 Feb 2024review stating The Perfect Match
Got the Dynamic Gold X100 shaft with a set of Yamaha Inpres 2014 Tourmodel MB blades and the combination is stunning with the soft spinny Bridgestone Tour B RXS ball. Shaft has a very good balanced low penetrating launch that does peak a little higher than the Project X Rifle 6.5 but am able to control these way better in the wind. Review by Garry L. on 1 Nov 2023review stating Softer and spinning R300 vs S300
Try a PW taper tip R300 in your lob wedge if you hit S300 in your irons. Still launches low with way more spin. Butt is thinner so it’s easier to swing for those shorter distances that still punch in low and shop much faster. Just compared with same head S300 and got better results from 80 yds in on 62 degree LW

6' 200lbs 15+ hndcp Got the S200's in set of Honma 737p's AWESOME, perfect for my big slow swing, never hit irons this straight. Also looks like I will be back at 8i for 150 !!! (ok maybe knocked down 7) Always saw the point and shoot guys on TV & YouTube now I can do that, OK maybe not all the time but that's why we play isn't it....Read MoreRead more about 6' 200lbs 15+ hndcp Got the S200's in
I got these as I was shopping for light weight stiff flex shaft & really didn't like the way graphite felt. Also tested 8-10 similar sets at Mike's in Hartford. Yes they are not the lightest but Dynamic Gold shafts have been around a long time. The performance is probably why. The guys at my club also got a kick out of the Honma's which is not a familiar name. The finish on the heads is a black/bronze the changes slightly as it catches the light, not sure if this was on purpose or just a function of the forging but gives it a nice snap. Lastly & this will be controversial, My sales coach at the store, who left me alone and I had to hunt down when I had questions said " the heads for most of the irons in you category (game improvement) in the last 5 years are going to be pretty much the same" as aside from looks, color, etc. performance will be very similar. "Concentrate on the shaft & how it feels going thru the ball" Thank you Adam.
In doubt?...... club up!
