EvenFlow Riptide CB brings a counter-balanced design to the Riptide family. Riptide CB is designed with Torsional Stability Optimization which allows for an extremely stable shaft while maintaining the signature smooth EvenFlow feel.
Tempo is not how fast you swing it, it is how you swing it fast. Tempo will affect how you load and unload the shaft and is a big factor in which shaft will best suit you. A player with a quicker backswing and more aggressive transition will have a faster tempo, while a player with a slower backswing and smoother transition will have a more deliberate tempo.
MEDIUM
TRAJECTORY
Trajectory is the flight of the ball and the peak height that the ball reaches. A player who struggles with getting the ball in the air should look towards a higher trajectory shaft, while a player who struggles hitting the ball too high should look for a lower trajectory shaft.
MEDIUM
SPIN
Spin is the amount of backspin that the ball has. The designs of certain golf shafts can promote more or less spin so keep this in mind when looking for a shaft to maximize your game.
Review by B S. on 15 Mar 2024review stating Great stock shaft
I ordered the 50 CB in 6.0 with my PXG Black Ops driver. The shaft is responsive, explosive, and accurate. I can go after it without fear of the dreaded hook.
Review by Phillip on 8 Oct 2023review stating Superior performance in all shaft categories
Very stable, controlled shaft with mostly straight shot patten. Easier to draw, not to fade as easily. Not short, not the longest, but most accurate in results. "In the fairway stick." Feel is superb! I installed the CB-40/A flex in my Ping G430 head; SW, D-1.5 @ 44.75 inches.

I wanted to return and add some more thoughts now that I've acclimated to the stiffer profile. The 70G shaft profile still carries the same gradual kick of all Even Flow shafts, but the heavier and stiffer profile gives me smoother feedback which lives up to the Even Flow moniker. With the stiffer profile, mishits are down, distance is up and disp...Read MoreRead more about I wanted to return and add some more
ersion is tighter.
The feedback from the stiffer profile is subtle and smooth as advertised for the Even Flow moniker, and it lives up to its name. When you get a perfect strike the feedback doesn't overpower the sound of the strike like some shafts I've used have in the past. Part of that is because of the increased weight and stiffness, but it's hard to describe.
All I can say is I'm even more impressed now than I was before. This is a great choice and it was an inexpensive choice. Read LessRead less about I wanted to return and add some more
Review by Mike on 18 Jul 2023review stating Great Shaft - Be sure you match it to your swing
This shaft lives up to its promise. When you strike the ball well it will be smooth as glass. It is fairly active, but the kick is pretty well balanced throughout the shaft. You're going to want to make sure you get your fit right because it is not very forgiving if you are off. Folks say it is alright to go down in flex, but with this one you'll ...Read MoreRead more about This shaft lives up to its promise.
need to adjust your tempo to accommodate the kick to help tame dispersion. So, getting flex right (even going one higher) may benefit you.
Honestly, I love the feel of the Riptide. Out of all of the clubs I've hit, it definitely is one of the smoothest I've used. Read LessRead less about This shaft lives up to its promise.

Been playing graphite design gp 5s in my TM sim2 for the past 3 years. Decided to go back to a fitter and was matched to evenflow CB 4OA after testing about 7 others. Clubface strike dispersion is a lot tighter and enjoying it very much. Thank you!!!!
