New look, new tech, trusted HZRDUS performance. Introducing HZRDUS Black Gen 4, our flagship product, and the most advanced HZRDUS yet. Utilizing a new Dual Torsional Design throughout the shaft, HZRDUS Black Gen 4 creates optimized torques and maximum stability while featuring the classic HZRDUS Black profile of stiff butt, x-stiff midsection and stiff tip, suited for an aggressive swinger.
Dual Torsional Design is a proprietary process that allows our engineers more freedom when designing a golf shaft—allowing them to dial in stability and desired torques more efficiently, producing a fully optimized golf shaft with regards to player profile.
Tempo is not how fast you swing it, it is how you swing it fast. Tempo will affect how you load and unload the shaft and is a big factor in which shaft will best suit you. A player with a quicker backswing and more aggressive transition will have a faster tempo, while a player with a slower backswing and smoother transition will have a more deliberate tempo.
LOW
TRAJECTORY
Trajectory is the flight of the ball and the peak height that the ball reaches. A player who struggles with getting the ball in the air should look towards a higher trajectory shaft, while a player who struggles hitting the ball too high should look for a lower trajectory shaft.
LOW
SPIN
Spin is the amount of backspin that the ball has. The designs of certain golf shafts can promote more or less spin so keep this in mind when looking for a shaft to maximize your game.

Review by Dan on 22 Jan 2025review stating Great performance, questionable quality
Great performing shaft for what it's intended. Agree with most regarding best version of the black. However my issue is the quality 3 of them have broken on near the tip section. I've used and owned tons of different shafts and I've never broken a shaft. One came on my titleist fitting. Two others came straight off two stock taylormade dr...Read MoreRead more about Great performing shaft for what it's
iver. And no these didn't get crushed. Just regular use at course and some range time. Someone told me I should've sent them back. I should've thought of that. I was upset so I just threw them out Read LessRead less about Great performing shaft for what it's
Review by Jesse R. on 4 Mar 2024review stating Super consistent shaft. Amazing product.
Using this shaft in my TSR2, 60g, 6.0 (stiff flex), ~106 mph swing speed. This shaft feels effortless to keep the ball in play with compared to other shafts I've used. I don't have to feel like I'm having to "hold off" or be careful with how hard I rip at the ball or bend the shaft because the shaft is so stable. Yet it still yields responsiveness...Read MoreRead more about Using this shaft in my TSR2, 60g, 6.0
going into impact (which makes it more gratifying and fun to swing). Its predictable no matter how hard you swing it, and predictability is huge. Love the looks of it too and that signature colorful hazard diamond - I hope they always keep that on the product! Read LessRead less about Using this shaft in my TSR2, 60g, 6.0
Review by Joe J. on 18 Dec 2023review stating 6.5 60g - 120 SS - 300+ rocket
Perfect shaft for aggressive / fast swing speed. You can really unload using this shaft and it hits the bill perfectly straight. Doesn't require the "timing" of some of the more blue board profile shafts - just grip and rip.
Actually quite smooth feeling with the new update as well.
Review by John on 18 Jul 2023review stating Gen 4 - definitely better than previous
They have improved from the RDX. Using 60g TX 2.5 - very happy with resulting stability and consistency. When I want to lean on it there is no feeling of reaching/passing its limit. It doesn't break the bank.
Feel is outstanding, my favorite shaft (and I've hit so many)
Review by JT on 14 May 2023review stating Feel is outstanding, my favorite shaft (and I've hit so many)
i love this shaft, extremely impressed. I got it in a used club, and so was not fit, and really didn't expect much. I was expecting a sort of non -premium product, considering it was a no cost option on some Titleist stuff.
this is the most premium feeling graphite shaft I have used. it's so crisp. the ball goes very straight for me. thi...Read MoreRead more about i love this shaft, extremely
s is the most confidence I've ever had with a 3 wood. the distance control and consistency has been great for me as well.
I am playing the 70 gram 6.5. the flex is perfect and I've never felt like I over powered it. my driver speed reaches low 120s and I have a very abrupt transition, so take this into account if you're considering the tx.
my metric of premium shafts is feel first. for me a resonant shaft is a good shaft. if I flick the shaft, and it rings like a bell, that's the one I want. my old gold standard was tensei ck pro white, but this one seems to ring more. Read LessRead less about i love this shaft, extremely
